2018 Kia Stinger Drive Systems
The 2018 Kia Stinger will be offered with two drive systems. Standard equipment will include rear-wheel drive, but the 2018 Stinger also offers an all-wheel drive system. The Stinger is Kia’s first sedan that will be available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive.
Stinger Turbocharged Engine Options
The rear-wheel and all-wheel drive systems will carry power from one of the Stinger’s two engine options. Standard equipment includes a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine produces 255 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

In addition to the base engine, the Stinger will offer a 3.3-liter turbocharged engine. The V-6 engine turns in the best performance numbers available on the car at 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. With the V-6 engine, the Stinger jumps from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds with a governed top speed of 167 miles per hour. Both engine options are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
The engine and drive systems offered on the Stinger are paired with a versatile fastback body style. The fastback allows the Stinger to offer 23.3 cubic feet of cargo space.
