With Spring in the air, it can only mean one thing – Easter is right around the corner. That means that there will be tons of Easter egg hunts and Easter Bunny visits coming up these next few weeks. Our team here at Kia of Irvine put together a list of local activities for you and your family to take advantage of this year here in Irvine.
Easter Eggstravaganza | Now through Saturday, April 15
Irvine Park Railroad – 1 Irvine Park Rd. in Orange
Between now and Saturday, April 15, children ages 2 to 12 are welcome to participate in a daily Easter egg hunt that starts at 10 a.m. each day. Tickets can be purchased the day you decide to participate in order to get a wristband. There will also be pictures with the Easter Bunny as well as train rides, carnival games and a bunny bounce house.
Easter Egg Scramble | Saturday, April 15 & Sunday, April 16
Mariners Church – 5001 Newport Coast Dr. in Irvine
There will be three separate scrambles for children to enjoy at Mariners Church next weekend. Guests will have two time slots to choose from on Saturday, which are both free admission. One will be at 3:15 p.m. and the other will be after the 6 p.m. service. The Sunday scramble will be after the 1:30 p.m. service. Toddlers through 5th grade are welcome to participate, and the children will enjoy face painting, crafts and cookie decorating in addition to the hunts.
Historical Museum Egg Hunt | Sunday, April 9
Irvine Historical Society – 5 San Joaquin in Irvine
Join in on the fun Sunday afternoon from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Irvine Historical Society for an Easter egg hunt. The event is free, but registration is required on the city’s website. Participants will be able to go back in time to see how people lived before the city was incorporated. There will be crafts and stories to share, and parent participation is required.
