One of the best parts of October is gathering up a group of friends and testing each other’s bravery by going through a haunted house together.
Ready to separate the men from the boys? The women from the girls? It’s finally haunted house time here in California and that means it’s time to muster up your courage to find out if you and your friends can successfully journey through a haunted house. Because we live in an area that boasts so many haunted houses, we know that we won’t be able to list them all here unfortunately. We’ll do our best to highlight our favorites though!

Coffin Creek
Kicking off our list is the Haunted Asylum as Coffin Creek. Featuring five different haunted attractions, you’re sure to find something that will have you shaking in your boots. Haunted events occur every weekend in October, plus a special Halloween event starting at 7:30 pm and lasting until 10:00.
Gershon Dungeon
Next on our list we have the Gershon Dungeon over near Santa Ana. The Dungeon is free to anyone brave enough to wander through its haunted grounds. It is said that every year around Halloween, ghosts and spirits can be heard coming up from the dungeon beneath the earth. Take care as you ride the elevator down into the dungeon as an army of undead await you.
The Fleshyard
With a name like the Fleshyard, you know that this haunted maze is going to be extra creepy. Located in Anaheim, those brave enough to enter the run-down house turned into a maze where depraved souls reside. Loud noises, incredible special effects and terrifying props perfectly combine to create an exceptionally terrifying experience.
Even though there are many more haunted attractions in our area, we’ll end our list here. Besides, if we kept going, we might not have room for a quick word about our Kia vehicles!
