However, one of the best things you can do with Bluetooth is use voice-activation to make hands-free phone calls. Simply pair your compatible smartphone to your Sportage’s Bluetooth and enjoy the freedom of wireless technology.
2017 Kia Sportage LX Bluetooth Set Up
- On your iPhone 7, go to “Settings”, then “Bluetooth”. Make sure your Bluetooth toggle is turned on.
- Push the “Phone” button on the bottom left of the UVO system in the center of your 2017 Kia Sportage.
- If the screen prompts “Turn Bluetooth On from your device to search”, press “Okay”.
- On your iPhone 7 under “Other Devices”, press “KIA MOTORS”.
- Ensure that the keycodes match between your iPhone 7 and your UVO system, and then press “Pair” on your smartphone.
- Your UVO system will the say the pairing is complete.
2017 Kia Sportage EX and Higher Trims Bluetooth Set Up
- On your iPhone 7, go to “Settings”, then “Bluetooth”. Make sure your Bluetooth toggle is turned on.
- On your UVO system, press “Setup”.
- Press “Phone”.
- Press “Bluetooth Connection”.
- Press “Add New”.
- On your iPhone 7 under “Other Devices”, press “KIA MOTORS”.
- Ensure that the keycodes match between your iPhone 7 and your UVO system, and then press “Pair” on your smartphone.
- Your pairing is complete.
