The wait is over! Kia Motors America has released sale price details for the 2017 Kia Sportage. The 2017 Sportage model was revealed in late 2015 at the Los Angeles Auto show. Kia’s 2017 Sportage is one of four new models revealed throughout this year’s auto show season, other new models including the 2017 Optima Plug-in Hybrid, 2017 Optima Hybrid and the all-new 2017 Kia Niro. Pricing and release dates have yet to be released on these models.
For the 2017 model year, the Sportage has undergone a growth spurt, increasing interior space through maintaining it’s athletic overall body length. Increasing the available cargo space in the Sportage has expanded to 30.7 cubic feet of space behind the second row. Other new features are more performance geared, incorporating a redesigned suspension system and more efficient engine options. Below you can see features of the upgraded 2017 Sportage at each trim level.
2017 Kia Sportage Trims
Sportage LX – Starting MSRP for the 2017 Sportage’s basic trim level is set for $22,990. It comes standard features such as LED daytime running lights, 170inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, chrome window surround, 5-inch touchscreen with rear camera display, Bluetooth, keyless entry and drive mode select. The Popular Package and Cool and Connected Package are available to add even more great features to the LX.
Sportage EX – The next step up for the 2017 model is the EX trim starting at $25,500. Building upon the LX’s Cool and Connected package with dual-zone automatic climate control and UVO 7-inch touchscreen featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, adding leather seat trim and push button start with smart key. The EX trim also has upgraded 18-inch wheels and gloss black exterior trim. For even more advanced technologies and safety features drivers can add the Premium or Technology Package.

Sportage SX Turbo – No additional packages are needed on the high performance SX Turbo trim. Starting at $32,500, this 2017 Sportage is decked out with a standard 2.0L turbocharged engine, the features of the EX Technology Package plus 19-inch wheels, satin exterior trim, dual exhaust pipes, and upgraded interior accents.
