Winter Fantasy Sawdust Art & Craft Festival
Where: Laguna Beach
When: November 19th to December 18th
This event is open from 10am-6pm, November 19, 20, 25, 26 & 27 and December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 & 18, 2016. Sawdust Art Festival will feature fine arts and crafts of over 175 artists. You can enjoy live holiday entertainment, art demonstrations, and outdoor cafes. This is an event you won’t want to miss! The festival’s grounds will be transformed into a winter wonderland! There will also be a petting zoo, thousands of holiday decorations, and of course, Santa!
Dana Point Turkey Trot
Where: Dana Point Harbor
When: November 24th
This Turkey Trot at Dana Point Harbor is celebrating its 39th year as a beloved Thanksgiving tradition in Orange County! It features a 10k, 5k, and Kids Gobble Wobble! They have a race for every runner or walker. It has been listed as one of America’s best Thanksgiving Day runs by Fitness Magazine. Over 17,000 runners, walkers, volunteers, spectators, sponsors, and vendors have participated for the past 39 years. Make this Turkey Trot a new tradition for your family!
Selfies with Santa
Where: Irvine Spectrum Center
When: November 25th to December 24th
Santa Claus is coming to town and he’s coming in style! Clad in a hawaiian shirt and boardshorts, Santa will greet visitors near Macy’s in his craftsman-inspired house decked out with iconic Orange County accents including surfboards and orange crates. Shoppers are invited to meet and greet with Santa, and, of course, take some free selfies! Every visitor can take two photos with their cell phones or cameras for free. If you desire other photo opportunities, professional digital or hard copy photos can be purchased upon request.
